CustomArray™ oligo DNA microarray

CustomArray™ oligo DNA microarrayCommercial CustomArray™ oligo DNA microarrays (4x2K, 12K, 2x40K, and 90K formats) are composed of semiconductor chips which contain platinum microelectrodes mounted in 1x3-inch ceramics slide. Each platinum microelectrode is able to support the synthesis of distinct oligonucleotide (DNA or RNA) probes. The microelectrodes are computer-controlled by electric circuitry embedded into the silicon. The surface of the semiconductor microarray is coated with an organic “porous reaction layer”, and this layer supports the attachment of synthesized oligonucleotide probes. This layer forms a 3-D aqueous environment for hybridization that elevates the synthesized oligonucleotide probes away from the surface of the slide, allowing for maximum interaction between the probes and target samples. Such an enhanced hybridization environment results in superior probe specificity, high signal-to-noise ratio, and increased sensitivity.

Washed Chlorella vulgaris - 100mL

  • Excellent feed for Rotifer and Water flea breeding
    (e.g. D. magna and C. dubia)
  • C. vulgaris concentration: 30-40mg/mL in Milli-Q water
  • Shelf life: 2 weeks from the date of reception at customer site @ 4ºC

YCT (Yeast, Cerophyll, and Trout Chow) - 50mL

  • An essential food additive to the blank test water (standard growth medium) used in Ceriodaphnia dubia WET (Whole Effluent Toxicity) reproduction and survival test
  • Manufactured in-house according to EPS 1/RM/21 2nd edition

  • Concentration: 1,700-1,900mg/L
  • Shelf life: 2 weeks from the date of reception at customer site @ 4ºC
